Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Journalist Intern to join our team for the RannLab Summer Internship Program 2024. The role involves developing and maintaining news articles and reports, so the ideal candidate will need to have a strong understanding of journalism principles and excellent writing skills.
The ideal Journalist Intern candidate should be able to work on new and existing stories along with the other members of the team. They should be able to understand story specifications, research, write, and edit news articles while also learning from senior journalists.
Responsibility
- Develop and maintain news articles and reports.
- Collaborate with the team to design and launch new stories.
- Maintain journalistic integrity and organization.
- Learn and implement new journalism technologies as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Journalist Intern or similar role.
- Familiarity with journalism principles and ethics.
- Proficiency in writing and editing articles.
- Knowledge of news writing principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with news sourcing and fact-checking.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality news articles.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum Experience Required
- For Freshers: 3 Months Training in Well Known Institute or Min 2 Months Work Experience or Internship
