Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Tester with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Manual Testing, Automation Testing, and writing effective test cases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by identifying issues and suggesting improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Testing Activities:
   • Conduct manual testing to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
   • Perform automation testing using tools like Selenium, JMeter, or similar frameworks to streamline testing processes.
2. Test Case Development:
   • Design, write, and maintain comprehensive test cases based on project requirements and user scenarios.
   • Ensure test cases cover all functional, non-functional, and regression testing aspects.
3. Defect Tracking and Reporting:
   • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
   • Collaborate with developers and project teams to resolve issues promptly.
4. Quality Assurance Process:
   • Participate in test planning and strategizing to improve testing efficiency.
   • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
5. Collaboration:
   • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality standards are met.
   • Provide feedback and suggestions for product improvement during development cycles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in QA testing, including manual and automation testing.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques and best practices.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python).
• Documentation Skills:
  • Experience in writing detailed and structured test cases.
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining test documentation.
• Tools:
  • Exposure to defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Experience in using version control tools like Git is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in testing APIs and web services (e.g., Postman).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and workflows.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus.

Remuneration

• During Probation Period of 6 months: INR 20-25k
