Hiring PHP Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PHP Developer with at least 2 years of professional experience in Laravel and Moodle. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of backend development, database management, and integration with third-party tools. They will be responsible for building robust and scalable applications, enhancing Moodle functionalities, and maintaining seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Backend Development:

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Laravel.
• Customize and extend functionalities in Moodle to meet project requirements.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.

Integration and Collaboration:

• Integrate third-party APIs and tools with Laravel and Moodle systems.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project goals.

Database Management:

• Design, optimize, and manage database schemas for MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Ensure efficient data retrieval and storage processes in Moodle and Laravel applications.

Maintenance and Support:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications.
• Provide regular updates and ensure smooth functionality of Moodle-based systems.

Code Quality and Best Practices:

• Adhere to best practices for security, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving team workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in PHP development with Laravel and Moodle.

Technical Proficiency:

• Strong knowledge of Laravel framework for backend development.
• Hands-on experience with Moodle customization, plugins, and module development.
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Solid understanding of MySQL/PostgreSQL database design and optimization.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with web server configurations (e.g., Apache, Nginx).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of LMS platforms and e-learning standards (SCORM, xAPI).
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
