Hiring Backend Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Backend Developer with at least 1 year of professional experience in Node.js to join our innovative development team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building scalable, secure, and high-performance server-side applications. They should be adept at database management, API development, and integrating backend services.

Key Responsibilities:

Backend Development:

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js.
• Create and optimize server-side APIs to ensure seamless integration with front-end systems.
• Implement secure and efficient data management techniques.

Integration and Collaboration:

• Collaborate with frontend developers to design and integrate APIs and backend services.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project goals.
• Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks and application errors.

Database Management:

• Design, implement, and maintain database schemas for optimal data storage and retrieval.
• Write efficient queries and scripts for relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

Testing and Deployment:

• Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure robust code.
• Deploy and monitor backend systems in production environments.

Code Quality and Best Practices:

• Follow best practices for code quality, security, and scalability.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to improving development workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Node.js development.

Technical Proficiency:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js.
• Experience with frameworks like Express.js or NestJS.
• Knowledge of API development and RESTful services.
• Familiarity with database technologies like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of version control systems like Git.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
• Basic knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with WebSocket or real-time data processing.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when required.
