Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Intern to join our team for the RannLab Winter Internship Program 2024. This role involves supporting the digital marketing team in various tasks, including content creation, social media management, and campaign analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for learning and innovation.

Responsibility

  1. Content Creation and Search Engine Optimization:
    • Assist in creating engaging content for digital channels (social media, blogs, emails).
    • Optimize content for SEO, ensuring it aligns with relevant keywords and best practices.
  2. Social Media Management:
    • Help manage social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).
    • Schedule posts, monitor engagement, and respond to comments.
  3. Campaign Execution:
    • Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns (paid ads, email campaigns, etc.).
    • Monitor campaign performance and suggest improvements.
  4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze website traffic, social media metrics, and campaign results.
    • Create reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  5. Market Research:
    • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences.
    • Provide insights to inform marketing strategies.
  6. Email Marketing:
    • Assist in creating and sending email newsletters.
    • Segment email lists and track open rates and click-through rates.
  7. Website Maintenance:
    • Update website content (product pages, blog posts, landing pages).
    • Ensure consistency in branding and messaging.
  8. Collaboration with Design and Development Teams:
    • Work closely with designers to create visually appealing assets.
    • Coordinate with developers for website updates and optimizations.
  9. Paid Advertising:
    • Gain exposure to Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or other paid channels.
    • Help set up and monitor ad campaigns.
  10. Learn and Adapt:
    • Stay informed about digital marketing trends, tools, and techniques.
    • Be open to learning and adapting based on feedback and experience.

Requirements

  1. Educational Background:
    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  2. Passion for Digital Marketing:
    • Demonstrated interest in digital marketing concepts, trends, and tools.
    • Eagerness to learn and contribute to real-world campaigns.
  3. Basic Understanding of Marketing Principles:
    • Familiarity with marketing fundamentals (target audience, segmentation, positioning).
    • Willingness to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios.
  4. Tech-Savvy Mindset:
    • Comfortable using digital tools and platforms.
    • Basic understanding of social media, email marketing, and content management systems.
  5. Analytical Skills:
    • Ability to analyze data and draw insights.
    • Interest in tracking metrics (e.g., website traffic, conversion rates).
  6. Creativity and Adaptability:
    • Willingness to brainstorm creative ideas for campaigns.
    • Adaptability to changing trends and consumer behavior.
  7. Attention to Detail:
    • Accurate execution of tasks (e.g., creating social media posts, writing email copy).
    • Proofreading skills for error-free content.
  8. Communication Skills:
    • Clear written and verbal communication.
    • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  9. Curiosity and Enthusiasm:
    • Curious about the digital landscape—SEO, SEM, social media, etc.
    • Enthusiastic about contributing to marketing initiatives.

Minimum Experience Required

  • For Freshers: 3 Months Training in Well Known Institute or Min 2 Months Work Experience or Internship
