Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Rannlab Technologies is seeking a visionary and highly experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our engineering organization, shape our technology strategy, strengthen delivery excellence, and drive innovation across all product and service verticals.

This leadership position requires a strong technology strategist who can build scalable systems, implement enterprise-grade architectures, adopt modern AI/ML capabilities, and maintain world-class software engineering standards across multiple teams.

As the CTO of Rannlab, you will oversee our technology roadmap, architecture decisions, cloud ecosystem, DevOps, security, engineering teams, and the delivery of high-performing digital products.


About the CTO Role

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for building the long-term technology vision at Rannlab and ensuring scalable execution across all project teams.

The role requires deep expertise across:

  • Software Architecture (Web, Mobile, SaaS, Multi-Tenant, ERP, Healthcare, LMS, Finance)
  • AI & Machine Learning
  • Cloud & DevOps (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Microservices and API-First Architecture
  • Security & Compliance
  • Digital Signature / PKI Architecture
  • IT Infrastructure and CI/CD
  • Engineering Leadership & Team Scaling

The CTO will directly collaborate with the CEO, Founder, Delivery Managers, BDE/Marketing teams, and department heads to convert business goals into technology execution.


Key Responsibilities (Chief Technology Officer)

1. Technology Strategy & Roadmap

  • Develop and execute the long-term technology vision for the company.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, architectures, and tools relevant to Rannlab’s growth.
  • Standardize technology stacks, frameworks, and engineering best practices across projects.
  • Align technology strategy with business expansion into India, UAE, and global markets.

2. Architecture Leadership

  • Architect scalable systems across SaaS platforms, ERP modules, AI-based applications, digital signature systems, healthcare platforms, and enterprise solutions.
  • Implement microservices, serverless models, event-driven systems, and API-first designs.
  • Supervise architecture reviews, technical design documents, and solution blueprints.
  • Optimize system performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.

3. AI, Automation & Innovation

  • Lead adoption of AI/ML models including LLMs, RAG systems, agent frameworks, and automation workflows.
  • Drive intelligent automation across internal workflows and client projects.
  • Build internal AI accelerators, reusable components, and integration frameworks.
  • Oversee innovation labs to test prototypes, models, and emerging tech.

4. Engineering Management

  • Lead all engineering teams including frontend, backend, AI, DevOps, QA, and product teams.
  • Improve sprint velocity, delivery timelines, engineering efficiency, and quality.
  • Establish KPIs and OKRs for engineering performance.
  • Mentor technical leads and managers, enabling the next generation of leadership.

5. Delivery Excellence

  • Oversee technical design, code quality, architecture consistency, and release cycles.
  • Strengthen project execution frameworks for on-time, high-quality delivery.
  • Solve complex engineering bottlenecks and handle escalations.
  • Ensure strong coordination between delivery, sales, client success, and product teams.

6. Security, Compliance & DevOps

  • Implement enterprise-grade security practices across products and hosting infrastructure.
  • Oversee DevOps processes: CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes, automated deployments.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection standards (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2, ISO, etc.).
  • Strengthen disaster recovery, backups, monitoring, and logging mechanisms.

7. Cloud & Infrastructure Management

  • Architect cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Optimize cloud costs, performance, and hosting strategies.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, server management, firewalls, VPNs, and IT administration policies.

8. Product Engineering Leadership

  • Guide end-to-end development of Rannlab’s internal products and SaaS platforms.
  • Build multi-tenant architectures, subscription systems, billing engines, and automation flows.
  • Lead brainstorming, prototyping, MVP releases, and scaling stages.

9. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Support sales and marketing teams with technical proposals and estimations.
  • Collaborate on new business pitches and enterprise proposals globally.
  • Provide technical leadership on large accounts and high-value projects.

10. Team Growth & Culture Development

  • Build a high-performing engineering culture focused on ownership, innovation, and quality.
  • Introduce training programs, engineering playbooks, and coding standards.
  • Recruit exceptional talent across AI, cloud, automation, full-stack development, and architecture roles.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills (Chief Technology Officer)

  • 10+ years of experience in software development & architecture.
  • Deep knowledge of .NET, Node.js, Python, React, Angular, Flutter, or equivalent stacks.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Proven experience architecting SaaS platforms and enterprise systems.
  • Experience in AI/ML, LLMs, agent systems, and RAG architecture.
  • Expertise in CI/CD, DevOps, microservices, and secure coding.
  • Strong decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Chief Technology Officer)

  • Experience with PKI, digital signature, Aadhaar eKYC/eSign frameworks.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks (HIPAA/GDPR).
  • Experience scaling engineering teams from 20 → 100+.

Experience Required

  • 7–10 years in technology leadership, architecture, and engineering management.
