About the Full Stack React PHP Developer Role
As a Full Stack React PHP Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React on the frontend and PHP (Laravel or CodeIgniter) on the backend. You will collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, QA teams, project managers, and DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and exceptional user experiences.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working across the full application lifecycle — frontend UI, backend logic, API development, authentication, database integration, and cloud-based deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, high-quality frontend interfaces using React.js.
- Build backend modules using PHP Laravel or CodeIgniter with clean MVC structure.
- Develop secure and scalable REST APIs for frontend integration.
- Work with MySQL for database modeling, queries, joins, indexing, and optimization.
- Convert wireframes and UI designs into working components.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and authentication systems.
- Optimize applications for speed, SEO, performance, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot backend and frontend issues and participate in code reviews.
- Work collaboratively within agile teams to meet delivery timelines.
- Ensure code follows best practices and security standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- Strong knowledge of React.js, JSX, Hooks, Redux or Context API.
- Solid understanding of PHP, Laravel, or CodeIgniter frameworks.
- Experience with MySQL, query building, and database normalization.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and JSON workflows.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Git/GitHub and version control workflows.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), Bootstrap/Tailwind.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of Node.js or server-side rendering.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux hosting.
- Exposure to AWS, cPanel, shared hosting, or cloud environments.
- Familiarity with JWT authentication, RBAC, and security best practices.
- Understanding of SEO-friendly development.
